Spark's Comprehensive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) camps and programs are filled maker programs and activities that teach students the principles of both the design process and computer coding.

The ability to code is a key component of technology education today. Our coding program will teach students important strategies to enhance their logic and problem-solving skills, as well as help them work toward becoming technological innovators of tomorrow.

Children attain fundamental problem solving, computational thinking, software development and design skills using among others tools, robotics. Young people show high levels of engagement and growth over short periods of time.

STEAM is an ideal vehicle for hands on use of technical skills embedded in a design process. It requires the 4 c's - creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication.

Expansion into private, home and public school systems to deliver our programs. We are extremely excited about our new partnership with The ACT and hope to model this across the lower mainland and across the province.

Art and Science are intrinsically related. Both approach the truths, intricacies and wonder of our universe, albeit from different perspectives. Drawing on each other for insight and inspiration, both expose patterns and casual relationships and in many ways they can help explain each other in ways that make each more accessible to humanity.

Long-term our vision is a comprehensive night school offering 3-4 classes each evening blending of introductory courses and courses in advanced skills and product creation (such as animation, game making and/or graphic design).

Project Spark programs are currently available in Maple Ridge, Port Moody, and Surrey, in addition to remote and home school programs. We anticipate further expansion over the coming five years, providing our comprehensive courses throughout the lower-mainland.
